Two Designers, One Workshop
Studio Lumen was founded in 2022 by Elias and Sofie in a sunlit corner of Copenhagen's Nørrebro district. We started with a simple question: How can a single object transform the atmosphere of a room through light and shadow?
Every Lumen One is built entirely in-house. We manage the full lifecycle of the object, from the initial selection of raw timber to the final wiring and assembly. This proximity to the material allows us to maintain a level of precision that industrial manufacturing simply cannot replicate.
Our workshop is a place of slow production. We make lamps for people who value the quiet presence of an object that has been touched by human hands.
